About Me

Dr. Brandon Riemer is an ophthalmologist with Riemer Eye Center, caring for patients in West Michigan. Originally from Ludington, he completed his undergraduate education at Hope College and earned his degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed residency training at Metro Health Hospital in Grand Rapids and returned in 2020 to practice at Riemer Eye Center’s Manistee and Ludington locations.

In addition to board certification, Dr. Riemer has served as Director of Ophthalmology at the Mayo Clinic Health System, was Chief Resident at Metro Health Hospital, and has been an associate professor at Michigan State University. His clinical work focuses on cataract surgery and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases including macular degeneration, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye syndrome.
