Dr. Bin Wu

Dr. Wu is an ophthalmologist, cataract surgeon, and glaucoma specialist at The Eye Center. He provides medical, laser, and surgical eye care with a particular focus on the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. Dr. Wu has expertise in all types of laser treatments for glaucoma and in glaucoma surgery, including Microinvasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) using specialized implantable tubes, valves, shunts, and stents such as iStent.

Dr. Wu earned his medical degree from Tongji Medical University in China. He completed residencies in internal medicine at Helene Fuld Medical Center, general surgery at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, and ophthalmology at Interfaith Medical Center. He then went on to complete a fellowship in glaucoma at Indiana University Medical Center.

Dr. Wu is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Association of Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
