Dr. Ben Mahan

Dr. Ben Mahan is an ophthalmologist specializing in the treatment and surgery of glaucoma and cataracts. He has been board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1988.

Dr. Mahan completed his medical degree and internship at Oklahoma University College of Medicine and Health Sciences Center. He served as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force before completing an ophthalmology residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center and a glaucoma fellowship affiliated with New England Glaucoma Research Foundation, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Harvard Medical School. He has held teaching appointments at ophthalmology residency training programs and served in leadership positions with the Tennessee Academy of Ophthalmology and other medical organizations.
