Dr. Ayman Elnahry

Dr. Joshua S. Agranat is a vitreoretinal surgeon dedicated to helping patients protect and restore sight from complex retinal conditions. He brings advanced training in both medical and surgical retina and is known for evidence-based care, clear communication, and coordination with referring optometrists and ophthalmologists across Southeastern Wisconsin. Patients see him for everything from new flashes and floaters to vision-threatening retinal detachments. Dr. Agranat provides the full spectrum of retina care, including in-office injection and laser treatments as well as operating-room surgery when needed. He completed residency at Mass Eye and Ear/Harvard and a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship before practicing in the Pacific Northwest and ultimately joining Advanced Retina in the Milwaukee area.

Jennifer Adeghate, MD, PhD, is a vitreoretinal surgeon who cares for both surgical and medical retina conditions. She treats retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, macular holes and epiretinal membranes, and other complex disorders, and offers the full range of retinal procedures including intravitreal injections, scleral buckling, and vitrectomy. Her visits emphasize education and shared decision-making so patients can weigh risks, benefits, and recovery expectations with confidence. Dr. Adeghate completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and vitreoretinal surgery fellowship through Columbia University Medical Center/Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and Vitreous Retina Macula Consultants of New York. She also holds a PhD in Clinical Microbiology. Patients appreciate her thorough explanations, steady surgical technique, and coordinated follow-up designed to protect and restore sight.

Anthony M. Parendo, MD, is a vitreoretinal surgeon with Northeast Wisconsin Retina Associates, caring for patients across the Fox Valley and central Wisconsin. He sees patients in Oshkosh, Appleton, and Stevens Point and focuses on conditions that affect the retina and macula. Dr. Parendo provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging and advanced treatments such as intravitreal injections and retinal surgery, tailoring care plans to each patient’s goals. Originally from Minnesota, he completed undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin and earned his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He went on to an ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and a fellowship in vitreoretinal disease and surgery at the Kresge Eye Institute at Wayne State University. Patients value his clear explanations and collaborative, long-term approach to preserving sight. Outside of work, Dr. Parendo enjoys golf, skiing, travel, and spending time with his family.
