Dr. Ayesha Shariff

Dr. Ayesha Shariff is a board-certified ophthalmologist in Central Texas whose practice focuses on cataract and glaucoma care. She offers comprehensive eye exams, advanced cataract surgery with modern lens options, and a full range of glaucoma treatments, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). Patients appreciate her calm, collaborative style and her commitment to evidence-based care that helps restore and preserve vision.

Dr. Shariff earned her MD at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at Case Western Reserve University. During training she developed a strong interest in cataract surgery and MIGS and has since restored sight for hundreds of patients as an attending surgeon. Now part of Baylor Scott & White Health, she enjoys partnering with patients and primary eye care providers to match treatment plans to lifestyle and goals, from reducing dependence on drops to achieving crisp vision after cataract surgery.
