Dr. Avinash Tantri

Dr. Avinash Tantri is a board-certified ophthalmologist with over 18 years of experience in comprehensive eye care, currently practicing at Connecticut Eye Consultants, PC in Lakeville, Connecticut. He completed his medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, graduating Cum Laude and earning recognition in both Phi Kappa Phi and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies.

Dr. Tantri brings a strong research foundation to his clinical practice, with numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading ophthalmology journals. He completed his ophthalmology residency training at the University of Iowa and a research fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital, where he investigated the clinical and molecular genetics of inherited retinal disorders. As a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, he combines his extensive research background with clinical expertise to provide comprehensive eye care for patients throughout Connecticut.
