Dr. Ariel J. Tyring is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of retina and macular diseases. A native of central Indiana, Dr. Tyring studied chemistry and Spanish at Butler University before earning her medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed both her ophthalmology residency and vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle. Her research and clinical interests include diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, hereditary retinal degeneration, and uveitis.
