About Me
Dr. Alexander Tseng is a vitreoretinal specialist in training who cares for adults with medical and surgical diseases of the retina. He believes patients do best when they understand their diagnosis and plan, and he works closely with referring eye doctors to coordinate timely, seamless care. His clinical interests include diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular disease, and age-related macular degeneration, and he is committed to using the latest imaging and treatment advances to protect and restore vision.
Dr. Tseng earned his medical degree at Texas A&M University College of Medicine, completed ophthalmology residency at Los Angeles General Medical Center/Keck School of Medicine, and is completing a retina fellowship at the University of Washington. He also holds undergraduate degrees in biochemistry and neurobiology from the University of Washington. Patients value his careful explanations, evidence-based recommendations, and focus on preserving sight for the long term.
