Dr. Ali R. Salman is a vitreoretinal surgeon and retina specialist at The Retina Group of Washington. Dr. Salman earned his undergraduate degree summa cum laude in biomedical engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed his MD at VCU School of Medicine. After an internship at Riverside Regional Medical Center, he completed ophthalmology residency at the Mayo Clinic, where he served as Chief Resident. He then completed a high-volume, two-year fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at Retina Consultants of Minnesota, receiving the VitreoRetinal Surgery Foundation Research Award and contributing to multiple clinical trials. Dr. Connor Ericksen

Dr. Connor Ericksen is a fellowship-trained retina specialist with Riverside Health who cares for patients with diseases of the retina and vitreous. He treats conditions such as age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular occlusions, and retinal detachment, offering both clinic-based therapies and advanced retina surgery. Patients often remark that he treats them like family and takes time to ensure they understand each step of their care. Dr. Ericksen earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Medical University of South Carolina and the Ralph Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, followed by a surgical retina fellowship with Wolfe Eye Clinic/Wolfe Surgery Center in Iowa.
