Dr. Anupama Anchala comes from a family of physicians and pursued an accelerated medical program directly out of high school. During medical school, she developed a deep appreciation for both the personal relationships in clinic and the precision of procedural medicine, which led her to ophthalmology. She grew up in the Midwest and completed most of her training in Chicago and Detroit. After training, she returned to Chicago and practiced for over a decade, gaining extensive experience in cataract surgery and both incisional and minimally invasive glaucoma procedures.
