Dr. Anu Gupta Desai is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery. She specializes in anterior segment eye conditions, offering laser cataract surgery with advanced technology intraocular lenses and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. Dr. Desai has developed a robust dry eye program, the first of its kind in Acadiana, to address chronic dry eye disease with innovative treatments like Mibo Thermoflo.

Since founding Desai Eye Care in 2016, she has focused on providing personalized, compassionate care that integrates the latest medical advancements. Her patient-first approach ensures tailored treatment plans for each individual, whether managing diabetic eye exams, fitting glasses and contacts, or performing state-of-the-art surgical procedures.
