About Me
Anthony M. Parendo, MD, is a vitreoretinal surgeon with Northeast Wisconsin Retina Associates, caring for patients across the Fox Valley and central Wisconsin. He sees patients in Oshkosh, Appleton, and Stevens Point and focuses on conditions that affect the retina and macula. Dr. Parendo provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging and advanced treatments such as intravitreal injections and retinal surgery, tailoring care plans to each patient’s goals. Originally from Minnesota, he completed undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin and earned his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He went on to an ophthalmology residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and a fellowship in vitreoretinal disease and surgery at the Kresge Eye Institute at Wayne State University. Patients value his clear explanations and collaborative, long-term approach to preserving sight. Outside of work, Dr. Parendo enjoys golf, skiing, travel, and spending time with his family.
