Dr. Anthony Girardi

Dr. Anthony Girardi is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Ophthalmology Associates of Glen Cove, providing comprehensive eye care to patients in Glen Cove and the surrounding communities. His practice focuses on the medical and surgical treatment of eye disorders, including cataracts, glaucoma, and cornea and external disease. He performs thousands of ophthalmic surgeries, including small-incision cataract extraction with intraocular lens implantation and laser surgery.

Dr. Girardi believes in treating each patient with respect, integrity, and compassion, establishing a trusted partnership between physician and patient. He is a professor of ophthalmology at SUNY Downstate and serves as Chief of Ophthalmology at North Shore University Hospital at Glen Cove and at Coney Island Hospital. Dr. Girardi has been part of Ophthalmology Associates of Glen Cove for over 25 years and is fluent in Italian and Spanish.
