About Me
Dr. Anne M. Floyd is a board-certified ophthalmologist and refractive cataract surgeon dedicated to collaborative, patient-centered care. She practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a specialized focus on customizing cataract surgery to each person’s visual goals, including the thoughtful use of advanced technology lens implants and laser-assisted techniques (FLACS). Dr. Floyd believes excellent results start with listening; she spends time understanding what patients want from their vision and explains options clearly so decisions feel confident and informed. She also enjoys long-term relationships in general eye care and helps patients navigate common conditions that change with age.
Dr. Floyd completed ophthalmology residency as chief resident at LSU Health Sciences Center–Shreveport, followed by an ophthalmic research and pathology fellowship at the University of Utah, where she studied new microsurgical approaches and intraocular lenses. She earned her medical degree with special distinction in research from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Arizona with both BS and MS degrees in physiological sciences.
