Dr. Anna Allen

Dr. Allen is an ophthalmologist at Albany Med Health System who provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. She treats a broad spectrum of adult and pediatric ophthalmic conditions and is deeply involved in resident surgical education. Her research focuses on improving surgical training, and her dedication to teaching has been recognized with the department's Golden Apple award.

With a background that includes a residency in internal medicine, Dr. Allen brings a holistic approach to patient care. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Albany Medical College and is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Allen earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical College and also holds a PhD in neuroanatomy from the University of Rochester.
