About Me
Dr. Anna Parlin is a vitreoretinal surgeon with Hawaii Retina, providing medical and surgical care for diseases of the retina and vitreous. She treats a wide range of retinal conditions and helps patients understand their diagnosis, the role of monitoring over time, and when treatments such as injections, laser procedures, or surgery are recommended.
Dr. Parlin completed vitreoretinal fellowship training at LSU Eye Center and ophthalmology residency training at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and an M.P.H. from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Her clinical and research interests have included diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration, and her goal is to preserve and restore vision using evidence-based, patient-centered retina care.
