About Me
Dr. Anika Tandon is an ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus, with additional fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology. She joined Pediatric Eye Associates in September 2014, bringing a comprehensive skill set to the care of children's eyes and adult eye alignment disorders. Dr. Tandon's approach combines the latest medical and surgical techniques with a compassionate, family-centered focus.
After completing her medical degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Dr. Tandon pursued her ophthalmology residency at Tulane University. She then completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at UCLA, followed by a second fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College and New York Presbyterian Hospital. This dual fellowship training allows her to manage complex conditions such as strabismus, amblyopia, and pediatric cataracts, as well as neurological conditions affecting vision.
Dr. Tandon is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality care for her patients, from infants to adults, and works closely with families to ensure the best possible visual outcomes.
