Dr. Andrew Hendershot

Dr. Hendershot is an ophthalmologist who specializes in the cornea and external eye disease. He treats a wide variety of patients, including those from other countries, and takes an individualized approach to care. He is honest with patients about their conditions and works with them to develop treatment plans that suit their needs.

At Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Dr. Hendershot utilizes advanced equipment and techniques to help patients who may not have found relief elsewhere. He finds restoring sight to be one of the most rewarding aspects of his work, enabling patients to regain abilities like reading and writing. He also serves as the Director of the Residency Program in Ophthalmology.
