About Me
Dr. Andrew Davis is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in vitreo-retinal diseases and surgery. He completed a two-year fellowship in vitreo-retinal disease and surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, a top clinical and surgical program. Dr. Davis has extensive research experience and multiple publications focused on age-related macular degeneration and infectious diseases of the vitreous and retina.
He served for many years as a Major and vitreo-retinal surgeon in the United States Army, treating soldiers and veterans who suffered war-related trauma and injuries of the eye and retina. His background includes comprehensive ophthalmology and retinal care, with professional memberships in the American Society of Retina Specialists, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
