Dr. Andrew Chen
About Me
Dr. Andrew Chen is a glaucoma specialist and cataract surgeon who cares for adults with complex eye disease in Seattle. He has particular expertise in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, cataracts and other anterior segment disorders. Dr. Chen earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, then completed an internal medicine internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He went on to complete a fellowship in glaucoma at UCLA Medical Center. In clinic, Dr. Chen is known for taking time to explain test results clearly, invite questions and partner with patients in decisions about surgery and long-term treatment plans. He aims to preserve vision so that his patients can continue the activities that matter most to them and their families. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active and spending time with loved ones.
