About Me
Dr. Eric Duerr is a glaucoma specialist and comprehensive ophthalmologist who cares for adults with glaucoma, cataracts and other eye diseases in Seattle. He completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Case Western Reserve University and earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Duerr went on to an internal medicine internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, followed by an ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami.
His clinical interests include the medical and surgical management of glaucoma and cataracts, along with comprehensive eye care for patients with multiple eye conditions. He is passionate about educating patients and helping them navigate complex decisions about surgery and long-term treatment, always aiming to optimize both vision and quality of life. Dr. Duerr strives to create a welcoming, collaborative environment where patients feel heard, informed and supported.
