About Me
Dr. Brian Nguyen is a glaucoma fellow at UW Medicine, specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma and ocular trauma repair. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Seattle University and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. He completed a transitional year internship at Corewell (Beaumont) Health in Dearborn and an ophthalmology residency at Corewell (Beaumont) Health in Taylor.
Dr. Nguyen's clinical interests include the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, ocular trauma repair, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). His research focuses on extended-release intraocular pressure-lowering implants and MIGS techniques. He has received awards for his research presentations at the AOCOO-HNS Annual Clinical Assembly.
Born and raised in the Seattle area, Dr. Nguyen enjoys playing tennis, listening to music, and exploring new restaurants with his wife.
