Cory Bergman, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and anterior segment care. He tailors treatment plans to each patient’s goals and lifestyle, offering a full range of modern lens options and technologies to help reduce dependence on glasses after surgery. Dr. Bergman sees patients in Rapid City and also provides cataract care in regional satellite locations, making specialty services more convenient for people across the Black Hills and beyond. He attended medical school at the University of Colorado and completed his ophthalmology residency at Loma Linda. Before moving to South Dakota, he practiced in the Pacific Northwest. Patients often describe his approach as clear, calm, and collaborative—he takes time to explain findings, review lens choices, and set expectations so there are no surprises on surgery day. Outside the clinic and OR, he enjoys exploring the Black Hills with his wife and four boys. Dr. Hadly “Carson” Eisenbeisz is a comprehensive ophthalmologist dedicated to helping patients protect and improve their vision. Raised in Pierre, South Dakota, he discovered early how life-changing clear sight can be and brings that sense of purpose to every visit. He provides routine and surgical care for adults and families across the Black Hills, offering thorough exams, straightforward explanations, and personalized treatment plans so patients feel informed and comfortable at each step. Dr. Eisenbeisz earned his undergraduate degree from South Dakota State University and his medical degree from the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine. He completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri–Kansas City following a preliminary year in internal medicine. He has participated in outreach work in Ghana and Northern India and enjoys an active life with his family.
