About Me
Dr. Amy Cherof is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon who joined Marietta Eye Clinic in 2016. She offers both traditional cataract surgery and laser-assisted cataract surgery, and she also provides routine eye care and medical treatment for a range of ocular conditions.
Dr. Cherof cares for patients with concerns such as glaucoma, dry eye, pterygium, ocular allergies, chalazion, and diabetes-related eye needs. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and completed ophthalmology residency training at the University of Colorado School of Medicine Department of Ophthalmology at the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute. Dr. Cherof values helping patients feel confident in their care plan and enjoys seeing patients’ excitement about improved vision after cataract surgery.
