Dr. Amir Hariri is a retina specialist who combines a dedicated clinical practice with extensive research and leadership in ophthalmic imaging. He serves as Senior Science Officer at OIRRC, where he trains image graders and supervises the analysis of retinal images for clinical trials, bringing over a decade of expertise in image reading centers to his work.
In his clinical practice, Dr. Hariri focuses on medical retina, providing comprehensive care for retinal conditions. He has served diverse patient populations across both urban and underserved rural settings, integrating his deep clinical and research background into patient treatment.
His experience includes working on artificial intelligence initiatives with Google and holding long-standing roles at the Doheny Image Reading Center and Doheny Eye Institute in Los Angeles. Dr. Hariri is committed to leveraging advancements in imaging and data analysis to enhance both research outcomes and real-world patient care.
