Dr. Amer Alwreikat

Amer M. Alwreikat, MD, is an ophthalmologist with a focused interest in glaucoma and cataract care. He offers the full spectrum of glaucoma treatment—from clinic-based laser options to minimally invasive procedures and traditional surgeries—helping each patient choose an approach that balances safety, recovery, and long-term pressure control. He also performs cataract surgery and counsels patients on lens choices to meet their visual goals.

Dr. Alwreikat earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan (2008) and completed ophthalmology residency with the Royal Medical Services in Jordan, followed by fellowship training at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center. He cares for a diverse patient population and communicates in both Arabic and English.
