About Me
Dr. Amanda Salter is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist at Salter Eye Center, caring for patients of all ages. She has a special focus on cataract surgery, LASIK, and dry eye treatment, and also treats glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. Dr. Salter also offers cosmetic Botox/Dysport® treatments.
She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Michigan and earned her medical degree from New York University. Dr. Salter completed an ophthalmology residency at Brown University, where she served as Chief Resident and contributed to ophthalmic publications. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Salter is on staff as an attending at Beaumont/Corewell Hospital and St. John/Henry Ford Hospital, and has been recognized as an Hour Magazine Top Doctor multiple times.
