Dr. Allen Eghrari is a cornea specialist at the Wilmer Eye Institute and serves as director of the Dana Center for Preventive Ophthalmology. He treats cornea, cataract, and external eye diseases, helping patients address problems that affect clarity, comfort, and overall visual function.
His clinical interests include Fuchs’ corneal dystrophy, cataract surgery, and corneal transplantation, including Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK). He also has experience caring for patients with Ebola-associated eye disease.
