Dr. Allen Boghossian

Dr. Allen Boghossian is a board-certified and fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in refractive surgery and laser vision correction. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri–Kansas City and pursued advanced fellowship training in refractive surgery at the world-renowned Durrie Vision.

Dr. Boghossian has held leadership roles including Chairman of the Outpatient Department at Eden Medical Center and serves on the Board of Directors for the Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of California. He previously served as Chairman and Board Member of Prevent Blindness Northern California, an organization dedicated to the early detection of amblyopia in children.

He is a frequent speaker at national ophthalmology conferences and an invited instructor in laser vision correction at the American Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Meeting. From 2011 to 2014, Dr. Boghossian was the official team eye doctor for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League.
