Dr. Frances Dossetor

Dr. Frances Dossetor is an ophthalmologist who has been performing cataract surgery since 1988 and is board certified in the United States and Canada. She grew up in Canada and Britain, completed her medical education and ophthalmology residency in Canada, and then spent three years at the University of California, San Francisco for additional training in neuro-ophthalmology and cornea/uveitis.

She joined Kaiser Permanente in 2002, where she practices in a collaborative environment supported by advanced information technology. Dr. Dossetor works with a team of ophthalmologists who provide coverage for each other. Her personal time is spent with her family, including her husband, a cardiologist, and their four children.
