About Me
Dr. Alice Williams is a board-certified ophthalmologist, cataract surgeon, and fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist. She earned her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Williams utilizes the most advanced technologies to treat glaucoma, with a special interest in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. She is also an experienced cataract surgeon, offering dropless cataract surgery and advanced technology intraocular lenses to reduce patients' dependence on eyeglasses after surgery.
As a dedicated educator, Dr. Williams serves as an attending surgeon at Wills Eye Hospital, where she teaches young eye surgeons and medical students. She has published multiple peer-reviewed research articles in medical textbooks and journals and served as an editor for the Glaucoma Section of the Wills Eye Manual. Dr. Williams is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, and serves on the Board of Governors for the New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology.
