Dr. Alexander Szeles

Dr. Alexander Szeles is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the Medical Director of Harrisburg Eye Associates. He provides comprehensive eye care focused on helping patients see clearly and feel comfortable in everyday life, with an emphasis on listening to patient goals and tailoring recommendations to each person’s needs.

Dr. Szeles has a special interest in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and in standard and premium cataract surgery, including laser-assisted options when appropriate. His practice also offers services such as glaucoma assessment and treatment, diabetic eye exams, evaluation for age-related macular degeneration, dry eye care, eyeglass prescriptions, and advanced laser eye surgery. Dr. Szeles studied biology and psychology at Loyola University Maryland, attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school, and completed ophthalmology residency training at Beaumont Health in Michigan.
