Dr. Alexander Kosmidis

Dr. Alexander Kosmidis is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist serving the greater Cleveland area, with emphasis on the Westside community. Born and raised in Cleveland, he completed his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and his internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He returned to Case Western Reserve University for his ophthalmology residency and pursued further specialization with a glaucoma fellowship at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans.

Dr. Kosmidis has extensive clinical and surgical experience in both the Cleveland and New Orleans areas. He provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on the diagnosis and management of glaucoma and other eye conditions. Patients can expect a thorough, compassionate approach aimed at preserving vision and maintaining eye health.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kosmidis is an accomplished pianist and enjoys performing for his family. He is affiliated with Mercy Health – Lorain Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital.
