Dr. Alexander Altman is a fellowship-trained cornea specialist with expertise in the medical and surgical care of corneal and external eye diseases. He offers the full spectrum of modern corneal transplantation--from partial-thickness techniques like DMEK and DSAEK to traditional full-thickness PK--as well as advanced cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses to optimize uncorrected vision. He also provides laser vision correction (LASIK/PRK) and comprehensive management of ocular surface disease.
Dr. Altman earned his medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine, completed ophthalmology residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, and pursued advanced fellowship training in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
