About Me
Dr. Alexander Aizman is a retina specialist who diagnoses and treats a wide range of conditions affecting the retina and vitreous, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, retinal detachments, macular holes, and uveitis. He is known for his commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients and has been nationally recognized for his expertise.
Dr. Aizman completed his medical training at NYU School of Medicine, followed by an ophthalmology residency at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital and a fellowship in diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous, uveitis, and ocular oncology at the Kellogg Eye Center. He currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU Medical Center and an Attending Physician at Bellevue Hospital, where he continues to teach and conduct research.
