About Me
Dr. Alan D. Listhaus specializes in medical and surgical diseases of the retina, vitreous, and macula. He provides comprehensive care for a range of retinal conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachments, floaters, and geographic atrophy.
Dr. Listhaus earned his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed a fellowship in vitreo-retinal surgery at the University of California, San Diego. He practiced at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in San Diego before spending nearly three decades at Lehigh Valley Eye Center in Allentown, where he continued his focus on retinal diseases. Dr. Listhaus is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Ophthalmology.
