Dr. Ajita Grewal

Dr. Ajita Grewal is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Altos Eye Physicians in Los Altos, California. She has a special interest in glaucoma, dry eyes, and general eye disorders, providing comprehensive eye care to patients in the Bay Area. Dr. Grewal is also Adjunct Clinical Faculty in the Department of Ophthalmology at Stanford University School of Medicine, where she contributes to the education of future eye care specialists.

Dr. Grewal completed her undergraduate degree with honors and Phi Beta Kappa at Davidson College, followed by medical school at Duke University School of Medicine. She then completed an internship in internal medicine at Stanford University Hospital and an ophthalmology residency at the University of California, San Francisco. Her training and research experience, including receiving the Asbury Award in clinical research, have equipped her with a deep understanding of eye health and disease.

Dr. Grewal is a fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology and maintains active memberships in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the California Academy of Eye Physicians, the Santa Clara County Medical Association, and the California Medical Association. She has been serving patients at Altos Eye Physicians since 1999 and is also on the medical staff of El Camino Hospital, demonstrating her commitment to the local community.
