About Me
Dr. John Chen is an ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma and anterior segment diseases. He completed his medical degree at Columbia University in 2006, followed by an internship in Stamford, Connecticut, and a residency and glaucoma fellowship at Tufts University Medical Center in Boston. His professional focus is on providing advanced care for eye conditions, with particular expertise in glaucoma management and anterior segment disorders.
Dr. Chen is passionate about the continuous advancements in ophthalmology that improve the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. He values working collaboratively with a team to ensure patients receive the most effective and up-to-date treatments available. He has been with Kaiser Permanente since 2011.
In addition to English, Dr. Chen speaks Mandarin Chinese, enhancing his ability to serve a diverse community.
