About Me
Dr. Adam Jorgensen is a board-certified eye physician and surgeon who specializes in cataract and glaucoma surgery. He practices at the Black Hills Regional Eye Institute in Rapid City, South Dakota, where he offers advanced surgical care for patients with eye conditions.
As a cataract surgeon, Dr. Jorgensen performs procedures such as toric and multifocal intraocular lens implantation to restore vision. He is also skilled in a variety of micro-invasive glaucoma surgeries and has a special interest in innovative glaucoma treatments and combined cataract and glaucoma surgery. His services extend to consultations and surgical care in Sturgis and Pierre, SD, making eye care accessible in multiple communities.
Dr. Jorgensen completed his medical education at the University of Utah School of Medicine, followed by an internship at the University of Utah Medical Center. He then undertook his ophthalmology residency at the John A. Moran Eye Center and further specialized with a glaucoma fellowship at the same center, establishing his expertise as a fellowship-trained glaucoma surgeon.
