Dr. Aaron Kaufman

Aaron R. Kaufman, MD, is a cornea and cataract surgeon who blends advanced microsurgical skill with a calm, patient-first approach. He helps people see clearly again with procedures ranging from modern cataract surgery to corneal transplantation and laser vision correction, and he explains options in plain language so patients can choose what fits their goals and lifestyle.

A Cincinnati native, Dr. Kaufman completed both his BA and MD through the accelerated Boston University program before ophthalmology residency at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. He then pursued fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, where he also contributed to clinical research and earned multiple recognitions.
