About Me
Dr Zena Lim is a USA fellowship-trained Consultant Ophthalmologist with extensive experience caring for both children and adults. She is known for her calm, reassuring approach, particularly with young patients, and for helping families clearly understand their child’s eye condition and treatment options. With strong expertise across general and paediatric ophthalmology, Dr Zena combines advanced surgical skill with thoughtful, individualised care, ensuring every patient feels supported from consultation through recovery.
Dr Zena previously served as a Consultant at the Singapore National Eye Centre, caring for both adult and paediatric patients. She continues to support children’s eye care as a Visiting Consultant at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore National Eye Centre, and Tan Tock Seng Hospital. She graduated from the National University of Singapore and completed her ophthalmology residency at the Singapore National Eye Centre, where she graduated top of her cohort and received the Gold Medal in Ophthalmology. Her advanced training includes a fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, one of the world’s leading paediatric hospitals, and a Ministry of Health HMDP Fellowship at Duke University Eye Centre, USA, where she trained with global leaders in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus surgery. Dr Zena is accredited to perform eye surgery at major hospitals in Singapore.
