Dr. Yvette Marie Santiago

Dr. Yvette Marie Santiago-Gatmaitan is an ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgeon who cares for conditions affecting the eyelids, tear drainage system, and orbit (eye socket). She evaluates and treats thyroid eye disease, orbital inflammation or infection, tumors, fractures, and other concerns that can impact eye comfort, appearance, and vision.

She also helps patients with droopy eyelids (ptosis), eyelid malpositions, and tearing related to lacrimal drainage disorders, and offers reconstructive and aesthetic options when appropriate. Dr. Santiago-Gatmaitan trained in the Philippines and completed an orbit and ophthalmic surgery fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School. She is committed to coordinating care with other specialists when eye and systemic health are connected, and to helping patients understand their diagnosis and treatment choices.
