About Me
Dr. Nahyoung Grace Lee is an ophthalmic plastic surgeon at Mass. Eye and Ear, where she is a member of the Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery Service and the Center for Thyroid Eye Disease and Orbital Surgery. She specializes in treating a wide range of conditions affecting the orbit, eyelids, and tear drainage system, including orbital tumors and inflammations, traumatic injuries, and complex reconstructive and cosmetic eyelid surgery.
Dr. Lee completed her medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and then pursued ophthalmology residency at the Doheny Eye Institute. She further honed her expertise through fellowships in ocular pathology and oncology at the Casey Eye Institute and ophthalmic plastic surgery at Mass. Eye and Ear. Additionally, she received specialized training in Asian eyelid surgery in Seoul, Korea.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Lee is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School and serves as an oral board examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology. Her research focuses on clinical trials for targeted therapy in thyroid eye disease, clinical research in ocular oncology, and developing models of orbital inflammation, contributing to advancements in patient care.
