Dr. Yungtai Kung
About Me
Dr. Yungtai “Tai” Kung is an ophthalmologist who joined the Eye Specialists of Napa Valley in 2019. He is passionate about taking excellent care of his patients and enjoys managing a broad range of ophthalmological conditions. Dr. Kung specializes in the management and surgical treatment of glaucoma.
Dr. Kung attended the University of California Irvine where he majored in biological sciences. He then earned his medical degree from New York Medical College, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for being one of the top students in his class. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington in Seattle and then a fellowship in glaucoma at OHSU Casey and Legacy Devers Eye Institutes in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Kung has been involved in publications and presentations during his post-graduate training, reflecting his commitment to advancing his field.
