Dr. Yungtai Kung

Dr. Yungtai "Tai" Kung is an ophthalmologist who joined the Eye Specialists of Napa Valley in 2019. He completed his undergraduate degree in biological sciences at the University of California Irvine and earned his medical degree from New York Medical College, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for being one of the top students in his class. He then completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Washington in Seattle and a fellowship in glaucoma at OHSU Casey and Legacy Devers Eye Institutes in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Kung greatly enjoys seeing a broad range of ophthalmological conditions and specializes in the management and surgical treatment of glaucoma. He is passionate about providing excellent care to his patients and has been involved in research and presentations during his post-graduate training. His clinical expertise allows him to offer comprehensive eye care with a focus on glaucoma and other eye conditions.
