About Me
Dr. Jason Bacharach is a glaucoma specialist and ophthalmologist serving the Petaluma, Healdsburg, Santa Rosa, and Sonoma communities from his practice, North Bay Eye Associates, which he founded in 1993. He directs the research division at the practice, overseeing clinical trials focused on glaucoma and other eye conditions. His clinical work centers on the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma, encompassing laser procedures and advanced surgery.
Dr. Bacharach completed a fellowship in glaucoma at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds the position of Vice-Chair of the Glaucoma Division at California Pacific Center Medical. He has authored peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and is a member of the American Glaucoma Society. He received an Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology in 2005.
