Dr. Yana Kiesau

Dr. Yana Kiesau is a Pediatric Ophthalmologist who specializes in pediatric care and surgery. She was drawn to ophthalmology for its ability to provide clues about a patient's broader systemic health and remains fascinated by the intricate workings of the eyes and the wide range of possible diagnoses within the central nervous system. Dr. Kiesau's expertise includes the treatment of strabismus for both children and adults, managing amblyopia, and addressing tear duct obstructions.

A graduate of Northwestern University, Dr. Kiesau completed her residency there and a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Lurie Children's Hospital. She is a Faculty Instructor at Northwestern University and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
