Dr. William Yang

Dr. William Yang is an ophthalmologist at Prairie Eye Center, specializing in corneal transplants and cataract surgery. He completed his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin and his ophthalmology residency at Texas Tech University. Dr. Yang then undertook a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at Albany Medical College.

Before his medical training, Dr. Yang earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Chicago and served for two years in the Peace Corps in Morocco. He joined Prairie Eye Center in 2010 and holds hospital privileges at hospitals throughout Springfield and Illinois. Dr.
