Dr. William Holt

Dr. William S. Holt is an emeritus ophthalmologist and a co-founder of Eyecare Medical Group, recognized as one of Maine's leading providers of LASIK, cataract surgery, and eye care. He began practicing ophthalmology in 1975.

Dr. Holt graduated from Bates College and Harvard Medical School. He then completed his residency at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he also served as a research fellow and a Head Fellow in graduate ophthalmology training.

Dr. Holt is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Outside of his medical practice, he enjoys running, swimming, hiking, and tending his garden and vineyard. He resides in Cape Elizabeth with his family.
