Dr. William E. Flanary is an ophthalmologist at EyeHealth Northwest providing comprehensive eye care services to patients in the greater Portland area. He has expertise in cataract evaluations and surgery, glaucoma evaluations, and diabetic eye exams. Dr. Flanary is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and was recognized as one of Portland's Top Doctors in 2020 by Portland Monthly Magazine.

Dr. Flanary completed his undergraduate studies at Texas Tech University, graduating summa cum laude with a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology. He earned his medical degree from Dartmouth College's Geisel School of Medicine, where he discovered his passion for ophthalmology and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Iowa, consistently ranked among the nation's top ophthalmology training programs.
