About Me
Dr. William D. Terrell is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained retina specialist serving patients in Nebraska. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with Distinguished Honors in Biochemistry from Marshall University and earned his Doctor of Medicine at the same institution, achieving the highest academic standing in his class. Dr. Terrell is a member of several prestigious honor societies, including Alpha Omega Alpha, and scored in the 99th percentile on all three medical licensing examinations.
He completed his preliminary residency in Internal Medicine at Marshall University, followed by an Ophthalmology residency and a Surgical Vitreoretinal Fellowship at The Ohio State University, where he was recognized as Fellow of the Year. Dr. Terrell now provides medical and surgical care for vitreoretinal diseases at the Retina Center of Nebraska, performing eye surgery at Hastings Surgical Center and Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. He sees patients in Hastings, Kearney, and Grand Island, and is dedicated to offering advanced retina care to the community.
